Congratulations new pastoral council members:
The Pax Christi Pastoral Council will have two new members starting in June. The Holy Spirit was truly in our midst as we discerned 6 wonderful candidates all bringing a rich spirituality and passion for the Catholic Church in the community of Pax Christi. We were collectively brought to the gifts and willingness of Scott Ladwig and Barbara Schuh who will add depths of diversity that is important to the breadth and function of the Pastoral Council. Congratulations to both Scott and Barb for their willingness to serve.
The Pax Christi Parish also wishes to thank Julie Andrist and Randy Horlocker for their service on the Pastoral Council these past years. We have been blessed with these two people for the commitment, engagement and service they provided our community. They will be missed but we very sincerely say Thank You for what they have done.
Featured Ministry:
Pax Christi Men's Club:
Pax Christi Men's Club meets the 1st Tuesday of every month from September through May. All men of Pax Christi Church are invited to attend. The meetings start at 6:30 with pizza and refreshments followed by a Program at 7:00. In March, Mary Alessio from Catholic Charities is coming to talk to us. In April, Angie Slattery will talk to us about the Youth Center at Pax. In May, Pax parishoner Mike Winkels, who just recently became a chiropractor, will present a program on Healthy living. The Men's club helps with service projects for the church including painting, cleaning, serving breakfast to IHN guests, donates money to Church Youth programs, etc. Funding for church projects is raised from the Pancake Breakfast held the 3rd Sunday of each month Sept. thru. May. The Men's club also sponsors the Beer and Brat Feed the first weekend in June for all members of Pax. Any questions, contact Mark Marreel at 507-289-0838.

A Daily Spiritual Reflection
St. Paul instructs us to "pray always". As Catholics we are encouraged to pray, receive the sacraments and serve the Lord in all that we do. An important and necessary practice to enrich our prayer and service experiences is to engage in a daily Reflection. Presented here is a weblink to Sacred Space, a website featuring a daily prayer to reflect on.
