Through the history of biblical interpretation, the women of the New Testament get little attention except when they are portrayed as sinners and supplicants. In three sessions, we will examine some of these New Testament stories to see what they tell us about the “real lives” of women in the earliest period of the Christian church. Dr. Cathy Cory, recent retiree from the Theology Department at the University of St. Thomas will guide the way.
