Altar Server
This ministry is open to ages 4th grade through adult. Altar servers assist the priest during Mass.
Cross Bearer
As a cross bearer you carry the cross during the processional and recessional at Mass.
Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion
EMHCs offer the Blessed Sacrament to the faithful during Mass. Some also take Holy Communion to the sick and homebound. You can become part of this ministry as a confirmed Catholic.
Gift Bearer
If your family would like to bring up the gifts of bread and wine during Mass, please contact an usher before Mass.
Environment Committee
The Environment Committee meets throughout the year to evaluate the worship space of the church and to plan how to decorate the environment for liturgies throughout the year.
Hospitality Minister - Greeter
Greeters welcome parishioners at the doors of the church with a smile. After Mass these ministers distribute bulletins. This opportunity is ideal for families who wish to serve together.
Hospitality Minister - Usher
Ushers assist in seating the faithful when the Mass is crowded, assisting with the offertory collection, and handling any minor issues that may occur during Mass.
Hospitality Ministry - Room
The Hospitality Room Ministers are available after Masses to assist with registering new parishioners and answering questions regarding the Pax Christi faith community.
Projectionist
Projectionists advance the music Power Points during Mass and use the camera function when applicable. This ministry is open to high school through adults, or younger youth with the presence of an adult.
Reader
The reader proclaims the Word of God. They also help proclaim the Prayers of the Faithful. You can become part of this ministry as a confirmed Catholic.
Sacred Vessel Cleaner
There is a (not hard) procedure for cleaning the vessels used during Mass. Your time commitment is 10-15 minutes at the end of Mass.
Sacristan
Sacristans are responsible for ensuring the supplies needed for Communion are ready for Mass. They also prepare for other aspects of the Mass. To be part of this ministry, you must be responsible and reverent. Sacristans help at both daily Mass and weekend Masses.
Cantor
Cantors lead the congregation in prayer through the singing of various Mass parts. Cantors should have a good singing voice and the ability to lead the faithful in effective participation.
Instrumentalist
Instrumentalists are welcome!
Choirs
The music ministry involves leading the congregation in singing. Our goal is to enhance our liturgies with music and to have active participation from the congregation at our weekend and Holy Day liturgies.
