Pax Christi has two lay Trustees who are parishioners appointed by the pastor to provide guidance and leadership to the pastor and the parish on all topics relevant to the ongoing operation of the parish. They serve on the Pastoral and Finance Councils as well as working directly with the pastor in carrying out the ministry and mission of the parish. They are to be advocates for the parish and to the parish.
The Pax Christi Pastoral Council is a group of seven parishioners nominated by the parish and selected for service through a discernment process. Additionally, the Council includes the parish administrator, the parish trustees, and the pastor. The Pastoral Council is the primary advisory body to the pastor responsible for attending to the pastoral care of God’s people. Working for the pastor, the council guides, directs and supports all the work and activity of our parish community. The council discerns the needs and concerns of our parishioners and proposes meaningful and practical ways for the parish to respond to those needs, while maintaining our parish vision and mission.
