In ancient Jewish tradition, a disciple was like an apprentice. To become the disciple of a rabbi meant that the student displayed a deep desire for God and a drive to know him more. To invite a student into discipleship, the rabbi would say, "Lek Hackeri" - "Come, Follow Me."
Discipleship models the mission and action of Jesus Christ in the Gospels. Jesus chose to reach the entire world through pouring himself out in relationship with his 12 apostles. Even more specifically, he formed the deepest relationship with 3 of the 12: James, John, and Peter.
On this page we have included our Discipleship Information Guides for you to take a look at and pray about whether or not this is something you would like to learn more about. When you are ready contact Dana or Zach for more information.
